About Us

Cream 'n Sugar is a dynamic fusion of jazz, funk, and R&B, drawing inspiration from the groundbreaking sounds of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and the soulful innovation of D'Angelo and Erykah Badu. Based in Columbia, South Carolina, the band is led by Cameron Coffee, whose unique approach has shaped Cream 'n Sugar into an electrifying live act of style and substance..

Coffee met pianist Christian Moreno-Cova while studying Jazz Composition at the University of South Carolina. Together, they bonded over their love for classic R&B and modern Neo-Soul. They pride themselves on their history of collaboration with vocalists such as Nakyiah Taylor, Colins McBeth, Ben Chatonda, Randy Jordan, and Ashley Freeman. Cream 'n Sugar music weaves soulful melodies, body-shaking grooves, and lush harmonies to create an immersive sound experience that both honors the jazz tradition and pushes the boundaries of modern funk and R&B.
